NOISE PORN HAS MOVED!

That's right - after just two weeks we've decided that Blogspot just isn't big enough for us so we've pushed the boat out and bought ourselves a brand spanking new domain name www.noiseporn.com

If you've been kind enough to link to us, please remember to update your link so it goes straight to the new website - www.noiseporn.com

Easy Toys Remix Atari and Scarlet Blonde Electropop

Our man in Mexico, Jorge "Lil" Sanchez or Easy Toys got in touch earlier today with this lovely little bubbling house track. It's a remix of Atari by Japanese Satoshi Tomiie's track "Atari" and it's bang on the money.

Satoshi Tomiie ft Chiara - Atari (Easy Toys Remix).mp3

Next up it's Scarlet Blonde, an electro-rock band from here in the UK who's ballsy electro-infused rock sound is devastating in your headphones and infectious on a dancefloor.

I strongly suggest you go to www.myspace.com/scarletblondeinternationaleteam, and check out the multitude of free tracks available to download.

Whenever, Whatever gets a strong thumbs up from the Noise Porn camp. Irresistible.

Thrillabeats - Let's go kill some vampires

Thrillabeats, a rising name on the Russian tearout breaks scene, are more than your average breakbeat collective - incorporating a VJ duo into their live act. Their energetic sets include menacing visuals that add a whole new level to their sound. It's at times quite a dark, breaksy sound with some definite eastern influences, but there's also lively guitar riffs and occasional underlying funk to keep things going.

Thrillabeats - 15 minute promo.mp3

1) Future Shock (Fast Mix)
2) Dreadshot
3) Mind Breaker
4) Black Samurai
5) Charged To The Muzzle

This music wants me to go any buy a sword and a long, black leather coat. And then go kill vampires. Get the free track they provided here as well, it's another version of Future Shock off the promo.

Like the promo CD says - Thrillabeats are coming to London...

Kouncilhouse Salt n Pepa bootleg and FREE B-side

The remix and production work of Kouncilhouse speaks for itself. But in case it doesn't, here's one of the finest list of accolades we've seen in a long time.

ATOMIC HOOLIGAN... "big tings! nice boot! was screaming for it! will def be banging this one!"
CAGEDBABY ..."Chemical buzz is the one doing it for me, but all really good tunes "
HARDY HARD..."This is the most refreshing Salt n Pepper remake I heard so far"
BEATVANDALS..."Have been playing Kouncilhouse tunes in my set and are totally rockin the floor...The Shizzle!!"
BEAT ASSASSINS..."Kouncilhouse gets the party rocking with his solid grooves"

MC CHICKABOO..."woy yoi!! soundin big! Noice very noice indeed! ;) x"

Go check out www.myspace.com/kouncilhouse and load up Pass the Peppa (first up on the Myspace player!) Here's the B-side off that record to download, in total contrast (but totally representative of this guy's madly diverse skills), it's a really chilled breaks track with some very naughty vocals.

And if you like that then go and buy Kouncilhouse - Pass the Peppa -here.

Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit 2008 (Filipe Guerra Mashup Final)

There are some truly AWFUL mashups of this Nirvana classic going round the place but this one I just picked up off Vibe4Me is actually pretty good. Electro but still retains the original in a pretty classy way.

Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit 2008 (Filipe Guerra Mashup Final).mp3 (YSI)

Ben & Lex FREE track

Right this is just in from Ben & Lex, West Country wonderboys and all round fine chaps. It's a free track and "a right proper funk-a-thon of a tune which will get even the most miserable bugger dancing"

Ben & Lex - It's All Go In The Ghetto.mp3

Ben & Lex's distinctive sound can be heard on their weekly NSB radio show as well as guest mixes for Pulseradio.net and Outofthevoid.co.uk. Ben & Lex have also had an exclusive half-hour mix on Radio 1 for Annie Nightingale and they are residents at the UK’s longest running monthly breakbeat night, Beatz & Bobz, where they regularly support break beat heavyweights such as Rennie Pilgrem, Freq Nasty, Tayo, James Lavelle (Unkle) and The Freestylers as well as giants such as the Wu Tang Clan, Afrika Bambaata, Grandmaster Flash, Adam F & Fresh and DJ Zinc.

With critically acclaimed sets across the UK they have also made numerous festival appearances at Glastonbury, The Glade and Beautiful Days. They are also gaining international kudos with recent appearances at the Miami Winter Music Conference, Dangerous Drums in Berlin, Mission Dance Winter Sessions in Mannheim and the Break Nation festival in Seville where they rocked it to a crowd of over 10,000 Spanish nutters!!

Expect an exclusive mix just for us very, very soon...in the meantime get all the info from www.benandlex.co.uk

Hot Chip - Ready For The Floor and more...

Right people, this guy claims never to have heard of Hot Chip until recently, but he still managed to cook up this lovely little bootleg which is available here - sure to get some toes tapping somewhere!!

Hot Chip - Ready For The Floor (Brandon Black Bootleg?).mp3

Also this wonderful downtempo track featuring some guitars and lovely percussive bits from a chap called Black Gravvvy (more to come on him...)

K7 -"Cmon Bounce" (James Amato & Nate Bowen Bootleg.mp3

Nice mixture of 4/4 in there for you, enjoy people!!

Provokal & Bob Marley - True Love

This just in from Aussie born but UK-based hiphop artist Provokal. Provokal (real name Aaron Iselin) didn't enjoy the move much over to the UK and turned to poetry to express himself. This progressed into him developing his own rap-style and then competing in battles as "Provokal."

In December 2005, Provokal sent his demo into the offices of Broken Souls Productions, (Producers - ImZ & Neehi, Artists - Genesis Elijah, Lady Destiny, Dread MC), which landed on the desk of ImZ. Although ImZ wasn’t too impressed with the overall demo, he saw potential and admired Provokal’s attitude.

Since then Provokal has excelled in his art form, which has opened up many doors; Provokal has performed along side many respected artist such as DJ Jazzy Jeff, Lethal Bizzle, Klashnekoff, Skinnyman amongst others. In 2007 Provokal performed on Rodney P & Skitz’ BBC 1Xtra radio show when Rodney P complimented Provokal on his lyrics and delivery by stating "You have heavy, heavy, heavy vernacular!”

Already having had enjoyed airplay on national radio (BBC Radio 1) and having had recorded a track with the likes of Cypress Hill, at their studio in LA, Provokal is going from strength to strength. Get this -

DJ Kue - OMG

He is DJ Kue and his music has been garnering support from Judge Jules, DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, Charles Feelgood amongst others. Many of his early tracks made their way through the blogs/forums until his first official release on Vibrance Recordings, "Something Special."

Recently, Kue has begun working on production with DJ Dan and Donald Glaude, along with new music for labels InStereo, Shush Music, and Sweet Cherry Music. Keep on a look out for new music and performances from him, and in the meantime check this banger out -

The Mystery Jets - Hideaway (Switch Remix)

Pretty exciting - this just got released onto the blogosphere by Merok Records.

Long awaited remix of Mystery Jets indie anthem "Hideaway" from serial dance floor destroyer and kingpin remixer Switch. Been waiting for this one for ages and it has finally dropped thanks to those supercool French Fluokids. Perhaps needs a bit of beefing up but that infectious riff just keeps on kicking in. Good stuff, download it here -

Big tunes for your player - Wiley, Daft Punk, Beastie Boys plus original material

First up it's another HUGE remix of Wiley "Wearing My Rolex" from The Shoes keeps their track record of better-than-the-original remixes going.

Wiley - Wearing My Rolex (The Shoes 2.0 Remix).mp3

Next up it's Easy Toys, a 19 year old producer from Mexico who's got in touch with us with his new electro track. Got some good vocal samples in their from a wise sound engineer explaining the imminent impact of huge bass, quite fun. Check it out for yourself and check his Myspace - www.myspace.com/easytoys

Easy Toys - Get Loud.mp3

Local DJ Jules Moretti is one of the busier student DJs around Edinburgh and has provided us with this cheeky Daft Punk infused bootleg. Check out his website, www.julesmoretti.com and catch him either at Lulu on a Monday night, Berlin on a Thursday night or best of all supporting Caged Baby at The Caves on 16th May. Promises to be a very good night, Facebook the details here

Next up it's electro clashing with some crunky hiphop from Brooklyn DJ/producer Morsy (www.myspace.com/djmorsy)

Old Money - Steve Harvey (Morsy Mix).mp3

And finally it's Essex lad RDubz who says unfortunately we can't download his latest creation cos they're still clearing the vocals for release. He's a 24yr old producer from Chelmsford Essex, who's been producing since 2001. He's also part of newly formed record label collective 'Static Delight' (which consists of DJ Tastie, DJ Rascall, RDubz and Addz1), which also promotes events around the place.

They already have a release out 'Static EP' and you can pick that up here -

EXCLUSIVE DOWNLOADS - Sneaker and The Dryer - Nuskool Breaks From Across The Pond

Sneaker & The Dryer is a two man breaks outfit comprising Dj Btz and DJ DL. They're a well-known duo out in their native New England and are also famous for their show on the world's biggest breaks station NSB Radio - basically, the boys are doing good!

DJ Btz and DL continue to carry on the Sneaker & The Dryer name, lighting floors afire with their super high energy sets, nasty scratching and extensive track selection including their own works.

Luckily for you we've got two tracks available for exclusive download (128kbps though, so just for the iPod)

Sneaker & The Dryer - Postal Assassin.mp3
Sneaker & The Dryer - I Shot The Freak.mp3

And as an extra special treat for all you breaks fans, we've also got their 1h19m New Year's mixtape available for download, which I seriously suggest you check out.

The Long Division

A great new sound being showcased over on Audiodrums.com where it seems the author has teamed up with Jef Vandertogt to release their first six track EP under the name "The Long Division."

Have a look at their Myspace (www.myspace.com/thelongdivisionband). They describe it as a mixture between Hot Chip, The Postal Service, The Knife and Royksopp, so it's looking good already. Coming to a Skins soundtrack near you no doubt! I think there's some Ladytron in there too.

In any case, I've linked to this single which is available from Audiodrums, see what you think and if you like, please go and buy it (details on Audiodrums)

The Long Division - Neighbours.mp3

Boy 8 Bit - N.E.R.D. - Crookers

First up this Sunday evening we've got South Londoner Boy 8 Bit who's shareprice is tipped to rocket this year with a much vaunted track "Fogbank" which is featuring on hundreds of mixtapes and charts around the place. It's an infectious blend of dubstep, hiphop and electro. If you haven't got it already - get it here (it's now available on Beatport, iTunes etc. so here's a low quality version for you)

Boy 8 Bit - Fogbank.mp3

Next up it's Phra whose remix of N.E.R.D. "Everybody Nose" recently popped up.

N.E.R.D. - Everybody Nose (Phra Remix).mp3

In that same vein, here's a remix of that very same track which I found kicking around on the NSB forums. I prefer this one and I think you will too, it's faster and a bit more full on.

N.E.R.D. - Everybode Nose (Bump Remix).mp3 (128kbps)

Phra, incidentally is one half of crunkhouse kings Crookers, cheeky pair of remixers who recently featured on Pete Tong's Radio 1 Show (although he thought they were called Crockers unfortunately)

So just for good measure, here's a classic clubby track of theirs for your delectation

Kid Kudi - Day 'n Nite (Crookers Remix).mp3

And to round things off, a track which always gets me in a good mood for some reason, indie anthems with a rappy finish - it works! Check out www.myspace.com/djthemjeans and especially the Disco Sirens edit.

Spinto Band - Throw Some D's (Them Jeans Remix).mp3

Daft Punk - Da Funk (Homework Maximum Overdrive Remix) & Sebastian - Motor (Nicky Remix)

Just scouted this remix of Daft Punk "Da Funk" just in from Amsterdam duo Homework (http://www.myspace.com/officialhomework) which is pretty epic. Homework consists of long-time friends Zip Stolk and Tom Waist.

"Always neatly dressed in their white shirts with black ties, they have been murdering dance floors with their blogger banging electro tunes since 2006."

Too right, download this -

Daft Punk - Da Funk (Homework Maximum Overdrive Remix).mp3

Alongside this reasonably jackin' Sebastian remix from Frenchman Nicky.

2 cheeky bootlegs from Vivie-Ann & King Richard

Right check these two out

Vivie-Ann & King Richard - Let's Get Physical 2008 Bootleg.mp3

And in her own words "The Stealer's Wheel original best known from the "Ear" scene in Reservoir Dogs gets an octavified bassline with filtered vocals. Sure to get the whole crowd singing along."

Vivie-Ann & King Richard - Stuck In The Middle With You 2008 Bootleg.mp3

Vivie-Ann is from Montreal Canada. This year she's digging rubber chickens but last year it was all about moustaches apparently! And her partner in crime King Richard only recently hit the decks but has since seen slots at Heaven, London as well as across his native Canada.

Dr Fish Star Wars Extravaganza

Dr. Fish, surf bum and West Country scratching enthusiast has just come to my attention through the wonderful forums at Brap FM (be sure to check them out, wicked shows and good forums for the chitchat).

Since winning the 2007 D joust competition, he's been lucky enough to play along side artists such as Far Too Loud, Slyde, Vandal, Eric Morrillo, Janette Slack, Chicken Lips, and the Loose Cannons , playing at venues including Ministry Of Sound, The Whitehouse, and Herbal (so he's a big cookie, alright?)

There's free mixes available on his blog, one of which I've helpfully linked to right here, cos I think it's awesome and showcases many of the tracks I've been loving over the past few months.
But the iceing on the cake is that he's just produced this hilarious breaks track for all Star Wars lovers out there, constructed almost entirely from samples featured in the films. It's the first track on his Myspace - so fire it up!

Extra treat - Primary 1 - Hold Me Down (Foamo Remix).mp3

3 Big Blog Tunes

Hi, here's 3 of the best housey electro tunes I've got off Palmsout recently, thought you'd like to have a look at them. I haven't linked to them directly (these are all zshare links) but check out Palmsout if you like this stuff, it's a cool site.

First up it's a Jackson Five remix by Chew Fu. He's one of the most prolific remixers/producers in the U.S. at the moment and he's delivered with this aptly named "Big Room" remix of a familiar J5 tune. He's also been in touch offering Noise Porn some UK exclusives with his new tracks (we're excited!!)

Jackson Five "I Want You Back" (Chew Fu Big Room Fix)

Secondly it's a fun remix of M.A.R.R.S. "Pump up The Volume," which brings the track bang up to date, transforming it into a Listen to that and then watch this to remind you how oldskool that track is!

M.A.R.R.S. "Pump up The Volume" (Yuri Remix)

Thirdly it's The Bulgarian, a fantastic remixer doing the rounds who's put himself to work on Bryan Cox with the following results.

Bryan Cox "Let's Go To Work" (The Bulgarian Remix)

So I hope you enjoy those!

Dizzee Rascal vs Black Lights

This track has been doing the rounds on the blogs for a while but as Black Lights got in touch with me direct to give me a copy, thought I'd put a post up about it.

Dizzee Rascal, Sirens, thumping intro, just does it for me. Only 2mins 35 secs though but it's 320kbps so no complaining.

You can download it from here or here

Wiley - Wearing My (Breakin') Rolex

Check out this awesome breaks remix anthem from new label Blackjack Breaks

It's the first track on their Myspace and as soon as I've cleared it for download I'll put it up here. It's a ten/ten stormer in my opinion, love it.

UPDATE - Track cleared for download so get it here and load it up people. More to come on Blackjack Breaks soon

Blackjack Breaks founder Tim Crane explained more about the label "It’s a bit of fun at the moment as I still have a fulltime job however, like a lot of other aspiring producers, I would love to be able to produce as a fulltime job! We’ll just wait and see what the future holds but for now its booty shaking breaks blackjack style!"

Well we're liking Blackjack style here so biggups!
